My new favorite performance by Randa Kamal in Miami! She taught workshops there for Little Egypt (great company), and gave a 45 min show that is just amazing. This performance is my new favorite one of hers, I love the part she dances to the a cappella song Sirt el Hob, and even more so her dance to Tamra Henna. While Egyptian style oriental dance is my favorite, I always find there are not so many Egyptian dancers who dance amazingly to very upbeat energetic songs – the Lebanese for my taste do better on this high energy dancing. Think again watching Randa – isn’t she amazing! I love her expressiveness, emotion, and her sheer energy. Outstanding unusual dancer for me.
